Magnesium Citrate
A highly-absorbed form of magnesium that supports relaxation and deep sleep.
Magnesium is involved in over 300 enzymatic reactions in the body and is essential for muscle relaxation, nervous-system regulation, and sleep depth. Most Americans don't get enough from diet alone.
What it is
Magnesium citrate is magnesium bound to citric acid. That pairing makes it one of the more bioavailable, well-absorbed forms of magnesium — noticeably better absorbed than magnesium oxide, which passes through largely unused.
How it works
Magnesium activates the parasympathetic nervous system (the body's rest-and-digest mode), regulates GABA, and supports the natural decline in cortisol that should happen before sleep.
